Solo exhibition: PIECES
In September 2022 my solo exhibition PIECES was presented at Culture Hub Rotterdam. Each artwork in the show contained a deliberate absence: a missing piece. That missing part was not lost, but relocated, physically detached from the work and placed directly onto the wall beside it.
Visitors were invited to imagine, shift, and mentally reinsert the piece, creating endless variations. The works became adjustable, incomplete yet whole in their openness. Each arrangement offered a new way of seeing, a different kind of resolution.
Like much of my work, PIECES encourages viewers to look again, to embrace the in-between, the uncertain, and the playful. Because for me, that is what art is. Not a fixed answer, but an ongoing invitation to explore.
