Algemene Beschouwingen –
A Call to Vote

For Algemene Beschouwingen, a collective that commissions artists to create election posters, I designed a handmade, linocut-printed poster to encourage voter participation. By using traditional printmaking techniques carving the design into linoleum and hand-printing each piece I emphasized the physical, tactile nature of activism and engagement.

This poster is more than just an artwork; it is a call to action. The imperfections of the hand-printing process mirror the reality of democracy it’s never perfect, but it’s shaped by participation. Every vote matters, just as every carved line in this piece contributes to the whole.
