TOUCH ME – Interactive
TOUCH ME is the digital follow-up to my Analog Touchscreen project.
It’s a custom-built tool that lets you destroy and reshape type, without an undo button.
Using a set of glitchy tools and different fonts, you can create your own letterforms by dragging, pulling, twisting and stretching.
Every move is permanent. There’s no way back. And that’s the whole point.
Once you’re done, you can download your distorted creation, a personal typographic mutation, shaped by touch.
This project grew from my fascination with control and imperfection in design. We’re so used to polishing, refining, endlessly tweaking. But what if we don’t?
TOUCH ME invites you to touch type , to manipulate it like clay, to shape meaning through motion and mistake.
I use this tool in an analog way in my own work to explore unexpected forms. But I also share it in workshops, where participants explore the tension between intention and accident.
Because sometimes the most interesting things happen when you stop trying to get it right.
